Annual General Meeting
Annual General Meetings are again being held in May at Storrington and Sullington Parish Hall. Members receive notification of the AGM in the annual newsletter which is delivered at least 21 full days before the date of the AGM.
Trustee Committee
The Trustee Committee is always keen to welcome new committee members. While some specific committee roles do have some additional responsibilities, especially the Chair, Treasurer and Secretary, for the most part being a trustee does not involve any significant commitment of your time. There are just 4 Trustee Committee meetings a year plus the AGM. All these meetings take place in the evening. There will occasionally be additional, ad hoc, matters dealt with by email. Should any member be interested in becoming a trustee please contact the Society. Please note persons may be disqualified from holding the post of charity trustee for certain reasons. For guidance on eligibility and what the role entails please check here.

An updated Constitution document was presented to the membership for adoption at the AGM on 24th May 2017. This updated Constitution had been accepted by the trustees and approved by the Charity Commission and the TCV (The Conservation Volunteers – previously the BTCV). The membership present at the AGM approved the updated Constitution document. The Constitution document can be found here.

The annual newsletter is usually delivered to members in April. If you have not received your newsletter for 2022 please let the Secretary know.
If you have any contributions for the next newsletter please contact us.
Email notifications
We email members with details of upcoming talks, social events, the AGM and other matters of local interest. If you are not receiving emails from us then it is because we do not have an email address for you or we have an incorrect email address for you. If this is the case and you would like to receive emails from the Society then just let us know.
